B&B The Verhaegen in Ghent is a luxurious bed & breakfast that offers guests a unique and opulent experience, deeply rooted in rich history. Housed in a beautifully renovated 18th-century mansion, The Verhaegen combines classic elegance with modern amenities. Every detail, from the antique furnishings to the refined artworks, contributes to the distinctive charm of this exceptional accommodation.
With sights set on global expansion, B&B The Verhaegen aims to provide guests with an unparalleled experience that reflects the property's heritage. The mansion, meticulously restored by its current owners, offers a harmonious blend of historical elements and contemporary comfort. The rooms are individually decorated, each telling its own story with a mix of antique and modern luxury. When the B&B was relaunched, it quickly garnered attention from the press, who praised its intimate atmosphere and attention to detail. The unique approach to hospitality, where each guest receives personalized attention, created a warm and authentic experience that stood out from other luxury accommodations. Guests appreciated the personal touch and the opportunity to experience the history of the house and the city of Ghent in a unique way.
NAMING STRATEGY
Originally known as The Verhaegen House, the name reflected a singular focus on its historical roots. To better represent its broader vision of becoming a global symbol of luxury and heritage, we needed to rethink its identity. Our first task was to map out how a new name and brand identity could help navigate towards a more comprehensive brand architecture.
BRAND STRATEGY
With a name locked in, next up was story. Pangea could speak about its AI and deep learning innovations, but their underlying motivation is more captivating. Pangea is fundamentally changing commerce. It’s unlocking a borderless market. We landed on: A World of Potential®.
